Seam's tenement portfolio spans 340,000 hectares across two of the world's highest-grade bauxite provinces. Drill-defined resources carry average available alumina content of 47.8%, placing every tonne in the top quartile of global feedstock quality. Reserve statements are independently audited to JORC 2012 and updated annually.
Refining Operations
From red ore to white powder in 38 kilometres.
The Seam refinery complex sits 38 km from the mine gate, connected by a sealed conveyor corridor that eliminates road-haulage variability. The Bayer circuit processes 14.8 Mt of ore per annum, yielding 4.2 Mt of smelter-grade alumina at 99.2% Al₂O₃. Continuous X-ray fluorescence monitoring ensures every outbound parcel meets specification before loading.
Supply Chain
Port Seam handles 40,000 DWT vessels on a 72-hour berth cycle.
The dedicated export terminal at Port Seam operates two ship loaders rated at 4,500 tph combined. Stockpile capacity of 380,000 t provides buffer against weather windows, and the terminal's 14-day average transit time to principal smelter clusters in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East is independently benchmarked against the top three global alumina exporters annually.
Land Stewardship
Every bench mined is a forest returned within a decade.
Seam operates under a progressive rehabilitation commitment: for every hectare of active mine footprint, 1.3 ha of certified native forest is established. The programme uses locally-sourced endemic species propagated in Seam's own nursery, achieving canopy closure within 7–9 years. Independent ecological audits confirm biodiversity indices in rehabilitated zones now exceed pre-disturbance baselines in 62% of assessed plots.
